Day & Night is a fun filled game of logical thinking using colours, shapes and silhouettes that evolves in steps with your child's growing skills. Just as night follows day, the "day" challenges (1-24 in the challenge booklet) provide a great start that gradually builds up to the more advanced "night" challenges (25-48 in the challenge booklet). The day challenges work on visual understanding skills for young children as they work on replicating the image shown in the challenge book using the wooden blocks and arranging them in the same way they are shown in the booklet. The night challenges are slightly more difficult and focus on problem solving as children try to replicate the silhouette image. The key to the night challenges is to understand the shapes you have to use and apply logical thinking to how they will be placed in the puzzle when you only have a silhouette for help.
There are 48 different challenges for your child to enjoy and four different levels of difficulties ranging from beginner to master which are clearly labelled in the challenge booklet. The challenge booklet includes the challenges and on the reverse side the solutions so you can see if you have assembled the challenge correctly.
